Moulin Rouge refers to both a historic Parisian cabaret and a popular movie and musical based on it. The Moulin Rouge (French for "Red Windmill") was founded in 1889 in Paris and is known for its lively can-can dancing and elaborate costumes. The 2001 film, "Moulin Rouge!", directed by Baz Luhrmann
